This past weekend saw the opening races for both the Formula 1 and Indycar Seasons. Both races were won easily by Sebastian Vettel and Dario Franchitti respectively. Neither race was exciting. Lets hope the races get better as the season progresses. The one highlight for me was the performance of Simona De
Silvestro at St Pete. Not only was her race exciting the HVM team deserve  big congratulations as they are the smallest team in Indy Racing and one of the less well funded.

There is a distinct sence of Irony that the man who destroyed Indy Racing in
North America was kicked our of his own Company allmost at the same time the 2 parties tried to get back together. Here we are 3 years later and the same Board of Directors is re appointing him to the Board. Makes you wonder!
